Rivers Casino & Resort Schenectady reopens Wednesday at reduced capacity days after New York Governor Andrew Cuomo announced the state’s commercial casinos could return following a coronavirus shutdown
Rivers will limit gaming floor capacity to 25% and masks will be enforced.
The casino’s daily hours will run from 8am to 2am with downtime used for deep cleaning.
Justin Moore, GM of Rivers Casino & Resort Schenectady, said, “The Rivers team has been working hand-in-hand with the state to make all the changes necessary to reopen and we will meet, or exceed, all requirements to provide a safe and healthy entertainment environment.”
The Rivers Sportsbook and slots will be available to play, while table games remain off limits until further approval from the New York State Gaming Commission.
