This is part of a strategic North American expansion plan.

Kindred Group has launched the first phase of its retail sportsbook operation at the Swinomish Casino & Lodge in Washington State. The recent release marks the 13th North American retail sportsbook deployment.

The group recently signed a six-year deal with the Swinomish Indian Tribal Community.

Sports bettors will have access to Kindred’s Unibet-branded kiosks, as well as access to over-the-counter sports betting through the initial launch phase. Kindred said that expansion will continue at the retail location, with the addition of an immersive sports betting lounge.

The Unibet lounge is scheduled to open later this year, according to a Kindred Group official statement. Kindred has retail sportsbooks in two other US states, including Pennsylvania and Arizona.

Kindred Group SVP of North America Manuel Stan commented on the company’s plans for its latest retail sportsbook location.

He said: "We are delighted to launch the first phase of our exciting retail partnership with the Swinomish Indian Tribal Community.

“Work continues at pace to build a fantastic Unibet sportsbook lounge, offering customers to the Swinomish Casino & Lodge a truly immersive sports betting experience.”

Kindred Group is an online gambling operator that is comprised of nine brands and specializes in online bingo, online casino, online poker and sports betting products.

The company said that it will “continue to invest in growing its North America operations where market conditions support a sustainable business model.”

The New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement recently gave Kindred Group the green light to launch its proprietary gaming platform within the Garden State. The company expects to launch in New Jersey in the middle of next month.
