Bally's Corporation has announced the appointment of Tracy Harris to its board of directors where she will be an independent member. Her term on the board is still subject to regulatory approval.
Having worked as a financial executive and expert for Bally’s previously. With over two decades of leadership experience, Harris has a proven track record for assisting highly regulated corporations and NPOs.
She specializes in accelerating the growth of companies, enhancing profitability, achieving business objectives and mitigating risks.
Bally's Chairman of the Board Soo Kim commented: "On behalf of the entire Board of Directors, I am pleased to welcome Tracy Harris to Bally's. We will undoubtedly benefit from her deep finance, operations, and strategy expertise."
Tracy's most recent role was Executive VP, CFO and Treasurer of MIB Group Holdings, a startup insurance technology provider, where she oversaw the company’s financial transformation.
She has plenty of experience in business finance. Her prior role to working with MIB was as the CFO of UMUC Ventures, a VC fund established by the University of Maryland Global Campus. Before that, she again held the title of CFO at Bullis School LLC, an independent college preparatory school in Potomac, Maryland.
Harris was also a CFO at TheBondFacto Company, a municipal bond insurance company and for the American Institute of Architects (where she also served as the VP of Administration).
Furthermore, Harris has been active on boards across various industries, with a focus on finance. These boards include ones related to venture capital, private equity, health and wellness, real estate, insurance, financial services and retail.
