English is known as a gaming industry veteran and will aid the company in combatting cyberattacks.

Maxxsure, a cyber risk assessment and management firm, has recruited gaming industry veteran John English to serve as a member of its Advisory Council. His duties on the council include assisting the firm in strengthening its focus within the gaming industry to combat cyberattacks.

English currently lives and works in Las Vegas, Nevada. Maxxsure appointed him to the council because of his years of experience in the gaming industry.

Company President and Co-Founder Srik Soogoor said about English’s appointment: "We are excited to have John on board with our team of experts; his in-depth knowledge, experience and background in gaming and technology is important as we serve our growing gaming clients, globally.

“John instantly understood the value of M-Score to the gaming industry and how the risks to the industry could be minimized and managed.”

Soogoor went on to emphasize the importance of online security and the company’s commitment to a partnership with the International Gaming Standards Association.

Soogoor said: "Performing regular penetration tests or risk assessments just isn't enough to combat this growing problem. Monitoring and managing needs to be done daily, if not hourly.

“Maxxsure delivers a culture-enabling solution that is a priceless solution for gaming operations. The state of cyberattacks has changed from if to when and cannot be overlooked."

English agreed and commented about his eagerness to begin his role with Maxxsure.

He said: “I am grateful to join the Maxxsure team, and I look forward to serving on the Advisory Council and adding awareness to the gaming industry."
