The new aerial display will feature 150 drones that will aid in the countdown to the New Year.

Plaza Hotel & Casino in downtown Las Vegas will once again kick off its New Year’s Eve celebration with a live fireworks show. Guests at the casino can participate in an evening of Vegas-style parties that include dinner at Oscar’s, as well as a complimentary champagne toast.

This year’s fireworks show will bring something new to the sky with an aerial display that features 150 drones. Viewers can watch the end-of-year countdown that Plaza claims will be “visible for miles.”

The casino noted that a section of Main Street in front of the destination will be closed down during the fireworks display.

This year’s fireworks will be the only ones featured in downtown Las Vegas.

Other New Year’s Eve events include a rooftop view party that is available for guests of the resort. This is accessible to all ages and is part of the hotel’s NYE 2023 Room Package. Guests will have access to complimentary early check-in and check-out, as well as a $50 food and beverage credit.

Comedian Stanhope will perform at 8PM on New Year’s Eve in the Plaza showroom. Stanhope has been a part of the Plaza’s end-of-year celebration tradition for several years. The show is accessible for guests who are 21 years and older.

The Plaza Hotel & Casino opened in 1971 and is located in the heart of downtown Las Vegas. The casino’s décor marries modern style with a vintage Rat Pack vibe.

Plaza Hotel & Casino was built on the original Las Vegas railroad depot’s site. It is comprised of 1,000 rooms and suites, a classic Vegas showroom, downtown Vegas’ only bingo hall, as well as 30,000 square feet meeting space designed as a refurbished ballroom.

The facility also has the Plaza Core Arena where larger events are hosted. The Plaza Core Arena is the only equestrian and multipurpose facility in downtown Las Vegas.

The Plaza Hotel & Casino celebrated its 50-year anniversary in 2021.
