Tipico teams up with Columbus Crew to debut sportsbook offer
Ohio players who sign up prior to January 1 can receive shopping vouchers and deposit matches.
Tipico Sportsbook has partnered with Columbus Crew to release a new rewards program for Ohio residents, The Tipico ’96 Welcome Offer, which will give players throughout the state an exclusive voucher for early registry.
Players who create an account prior to the state’s sports betting market debut will have access to a Crew Team Shop voucher, valued at $96.
The sports betting operator will launch in the Buckeye State early next year, once regulated sports betting kicks off statewide.
The latest offer is named after the club’s founding in 1996. New account users can also receive a 150% sportsbook deposit match for up to $150, along with the $96 voucher upon sign-up.
Tipico North America CEO Adrian Vella pointed out US soccer’s growing fanbase.
Vella commented: “Fan devotion to US soccer is on the rise. The exciting Tipico ’96 Welcome Offer acts to deepen Tipico’s strong partnership with the Columbus Crew and its supporters.
“With the incorporation of a Tipico deposit match and Crew Team Shop voucher, Crew fans will be able to gear up for the MLS season and place a bet to further enhance their Crew experience.”
Tipico US recently launched its free-to-play game contest in the state of Ohio via its “Win Ohio” campaign. Buckeye State residents have access to scratch-and-win contest through both the company’s website and its mobile sportsbook app.
The release is an anticipation of sports betting legalization in Ohio. “Win Ohio” was created to “celebrate the platform launch and reward the state’s most passionate sports fans.”
Sports betting in Ohio will launch January 1, 2023. State lawmakers passed House Bill 29 toward the end of 2021, setting statewide legalized sports betting in motion.
According to research, Ohio is actually expected to jump right to the top of the sports betting industry next year.
