The state is expected to legalize online sports wagering by the end of this year.

Caesars Sportsbook has launched a mobile app in Maryland ahead of the state’s long-awaited online sports wagering launch. Retail sports betting has been available in the Free State since December 2021 and digital legalization is now looming ahead of the World Cup and Super Bowl LVII.

Marylanders can expect to take advantage of special introductory offers when they register and deposit funds ahead of mobile sports betting’s debut in Maryland.

Caesars Digital President Eric Hession commented: “The Caesars Sportsbook app is ready to deliver an unmatched sports wagering experience in Maryland, true to Caesars’ legacy in the state.

“Today’s launch for pre-registration is a great way for Maryland sports fans to prepare for mobile sports betting’s full launch. We’d like to thank our exceptional local partnership team and state regulators for making this possible.”

Caesars Sportsbook has been offering in-person betting in Maryland since December 2021, at its Horseshoe Casino Baltimore venue. This recently renovated retail sportsbook is now accepting cash deposits to fund sports wagering mobile accounts and assisting gamblers to sign up for the Caesars Sportsbook app.

Starting today (15th November), any eligible sports fans in the Free State can choose to download the Caesars Sportsbook app. They will be able to register, deposit funds and take advantage of special sign-up offers – although they can’t place bets quite yet.

The advantages of early pre-registration are plentiful. If bettors fund their accounts early, they will receive $100 in bet credits, including a $25 bet credit for the day that mobile wagering goes live.

Caesars Sportsbook is a sports betting partner of the Baltimore Ravens and Horseshoe Casino Baltimore is the only casino partner of the NFL team. The multifaceted partnership provides Caesars Sportsbook bettors and Caesars Reward members with access to merchandise, tickets, and meet and greets with Ravens players.
