Applicants can be interviewed and hired on the spot.

The Temporary by American Place has announced it will hold two upcoming career fairs on October 29 and on November 5 at the American Place Recruitment Center in Waukegan, Illinois. Both job fairs will be open from 10AM to 3PM.

Full-time and part-time positions are both available for those aged 21 years and older. Applicants can be hired on the spot for several jobs, including table games, slot attendants, slot technicians, food and beverage, finance, cage cashiers, count team members, housekeeping, facilities and security.

Those hired during the career fair will leave with start date information and an offer letter. Attendees who apply for entry-level dealer positions will have access to American Place's "Table Game Bootcamp,” which offers four, six and eight-week training options for new dealers to learn how to deal blackjack and baccarat games.

New team members who complete boot camp training will be eligible for a training bonus once the temporary casino opens.

Once open, The Temporary by American Place will be home to more than 800 slot machines, more than 20 table games, a sportsbook and three full-service restaurants.

The Temporary by American Place Vice President and General Manager Jeff Babinski said: "We are thrilled to share our passion and excitement for our new casino with all of these candidates.

"As we open The Temporary and work towards opening the permanent facility, these individuals will have a unique opportunity to join a great company. We look forward to developing a strong team, a great culture and being the premiere casino in Chicagoland area."
