Its SYNKROS system gives players a cashless wagering option.

Holland America Line and Konami Gaming, Inc. have completed the launch of a casino management system, SYNKROS, which will give cruise guests enhanced slot machine and gaming services. SYNKROS has been implemented across the fleet’s 11 ships.

Guest will have access to cashless wagering, as well as to information about their play. The system allows players to streamline their interaction with current promotional offers and gives them easy access to prize drawings, on-demand slot tournaments and floor-wide bonus events.

Customers can easily keep track of point earnings and will be able to quickly redeem points they have earned through the Konami casino system.

Carnival Corporation SVP of Global Casino Operations, Marty Goldman, said: “The SYNKROS system – known as SURF (Serving Up Rewards and Fun) – offers exciting new features that personalize slot machine play and improves the experience for our guests who enjoy the casino.

“With the completion of the system installation across the fleet, Holland America Line ships are leading the way among Carnival Corporation’s portfolio of brands to deploy this exciting new system.”

Konami Gaming Executive VP and COO Tom Jingoli said the company is excited to partner with Holland America Line.

“SYNKROS is part of a broad array of innovative initiatives and experiences available to guests on Holland America Line. Konami is committed to an equally successful implementation across Carnival Corporation’s global fleet.”
