Three-time Grammy-winning recording artist Miranda Lambert has launched her Miranda Lambert: Velvet Rodeo The Las Vegas Residency via a series of weekend shows at Zappos Theater at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino. The country music singer performed a high-energy show, with songs spanning throughout her lengthy career.
"We made it! We're so damn glad to be playing for people tonight; we've been rehearsing for a really long, long time," Lambert told fans during the show before introducing 'All Kinds of Kinds' during her 90-minute set.
"This song is your friendly reminder to be who you are, always, all the time – 'cause you just might end up in Vegas on a stage with bright lights, you never know!"
Lambert released Kerosine, her debut album in 2005. She dropped her latest record, Palomino, earlier this year. From now until April 2023, Lambert will perform live sets on the weekends at Zappos Theater. Shows begin at 8PM, and tickets are currently on sale.
She said a Las Vegas residency has been a long-time dream and hopes fans will continue to celebrate throughout its duration.
Lambert commented: "We've been dreaming up this show for so long to make it something special for the fans and to celebrate all the music we've enjoyed together over the years.
"It felt amazing to finally take everything we've rehearsed and share it with that room full of people. I can't wait to do it again next weekend and to make Vegas our own supersized honky tonk for months to come!"
Lambert, Live Nation Las Vegas and Caesars Entertainment will donate $1 for every ticket purchased to benefit Lambert’s MuttNation Foundation. The organization is a non-profit that is dedicated to supporting animal shelters and to the rescue and adoption of homeless pets.
