DoubleDown Interactive has announced two celebratory events for the first anniversary of the company’s Undead World: Hero Survival release. The company’s latest game title is a zombie-battler role-playing game that allows players to collect and level up heroes, as well as battle against zombies and rival factions.
The company said in a statement: “We are the creators of multi-format interactive entertainment experiences for casual players, bringing authentic Vegas entertainment to players around the world through an online social casino experience.”
Part of the anniversary in-game celebration will involve Birthday Bingo and a festival. Players will have an opportunity to earn rewards during these events. During Birthday Bingo, DoubleDown will offer players the option of completing in-game missions to earn rewards in exchange for filling out a bingo card.
Players will also have access to automatic rewards for logging in to play during the festival.
DoubleDown CEO Keuk Kim commented: “We are proud to celebrate this first-year milestone for Undead World: Hero Survival. With regular content updates, a variety of rotating mini-games and in-game events, and an engaging ongoing story, the game has already found a devoted player base. We look forward to growing the audience as we move into year two.”
More than one million players have downloaded Undead World: Hero Survival during its first year on the market.
