This is part of a series of renovations intended to make the casino a Main Street mainstay.

The Plaza Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas has completed a series of renovations inside the dining room of Oscar’s steakhouse. This means that starting this holiday weekend, guests will be able to enjoy the new decor that has been installed to create a more ‘vintage’ Las Vegas experience.

The casino celebrated its 50th anniversary in June 2021 and began construction on multi-million-dollar renovations on large-scale projects that promise to ‘transform’ the Main Street facade. As well as the steakhouse, work has been done to add a new bar under the Plaza dome, a smoke-free gaming area, roof-top dining and a doughnut shop.

As for Oscar’s steakhouse, customers can anticipate updates including: a new rich color palette, new comfortable dining room leather chairs and coordinating booths both in a deep merlot color. The renovations also include a complimenting new carpet. The dining room will maintain the iconic sparkling crystal chandeliers under its dome and offer sweeping views of Main and Fremont Streets.

Eligible sports fans can make dinner reservations online or they can download the app, register, and deposit funds to take advantage of new special sign-up offers for first-time users.

Oscar’s steakhouse also offers a ‘Dinner Series’, where diners can enjoy a three-course meal as well as a signature Oscar Goodman martini while listening to the man himself, orating his experiences as a famed criminal defense attorney.

Plaza Hotel CEO Jonathan Jossel said that the renovations had been like a “12-year overnight success” and further commented: “When you look at what’s happening around here and the great changes happening downtown that are starting to take shape, we’ve always felt that Main Street would be the best street in downtown.”
