Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder has announced his band Earthlings will play a show at Park MGM Las Vegas this fall. The band will take the stage on October 7 at Dolby Live. The announcement follows the band’s live debut at Vedder’s Ohana Festival last year.
Since its first show, the band performed several dates this year ahead of Vedder’s latest studio album release, Earthling.
Pre-sale tickets are currently available for purchase and will be on sale through August 26. However, there will not be a general-public ticket sale.
Fans interested in public ticket can access those by registering as a Tickmaster Verified Fan.
Earthings is comprised of Vedder on lead vocals, drummer Chad Smith, bassist Chris Chaney, keyboardist/guitarist/vocalist Josh Klinghoffer, guitarist/vocalist Glen Hansard and guitarist Andrew Watt.
Vedder’s career with Pearl Jam has spanned more than three decades. The singer is known for his humanitarian and social justice activism as well. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2017 for his work with Pearl Jam.
His lyrics touch on many social and political issues. Vedder expressed his songs are a way to inspire change in a nonviolent way.
He said: “Though some may think there should be a separation between art, music and politics, it should be reinforced that art can be a form of nonviolent protest.”
Dolby Live seats 5,200 guests and has welcomed a variety of recording artists and entertainers to its venue, including Lady Gaga, Bruno Mars, Usher, Jonas Brothers, Silk Sonic and Aerosmith.
Park MGM is a smoke-free destination on the Las Vegas Strip.
