New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy will deliver a keynote address at the 25th annual East Coast Gaming Forum (ECGF), which will be held 21-23 September at the Hard Rock Atlantic City. This will be the fourth time that Murphy has addressed this conference, a landmark number.
Murphy will set a record for New Jersey governors giving keynote addresses at ECGF, whose appearances have been a cornerstone of this event since its inception in 1996. Former governor Brendan Byrne was the first state governor to speak at the event, championing gaming in Atlantic City at a time when Las Vegas was the city’s only legal gambling rival.
The conference will feature three keynote addresses and several panel discussions on issues facing the gaming industry. It is organized and produced by Cooper Levenson, Attorneys at Law, Spectrum Gaming Group, Esports Entertainment Group and Sports Illustrated Sportsbook.
Cooper Levenson CEO Lloyd D. Levenson is a founder of the conference and he is delighted to be welcoming Murphy back to speak at ECGF once again. Levenson commented: “Governor Murphy’s vision for the future of Atlantic City and its gaming industry will affect the policies and practices of every state east of the Mississippi River.
“Governor Murphy’s appearance this year will be particularly noteworthy, as this is our Silver Jubilee event. How fitting it is to have a governor who shares our vision that gaming is a proven pillar of the state’s economy, and that Atlantic City is the centerpiece for all of gaming throughout the entire eastern region.”
