Multi-Michelin-star chef and television personality Gordon Ramsay has opened a Hell’s Kitchen restaurant at Harrah’s Resort Southern California in San Diego. The “iconic eatery” was inspired by Ramsay’s reality TV show, which features a culinary competition.
This is the first Hell’s Kitchen to open in California. The new restaurant is comprised of 11,360 square feet and has the capacity to seat 332 people. Within the space is a full-service restaurant, plush lounge, curated wine wall, exhibition kitchen, two chef tables and two private dining rooms.
Ramsay expressed his excitement about opening the new California location.
He commented: "I love Southern California. It's one of the best places to live, as well as visit, so it was a no brainer to bring California's first Hell’s Kitchen to Harrah's Resort SoCal."
Harrah’s Resort SoCal’s newest dining option will offer many menu items specific to the Hell’s Kitchen brand, including Beef Wellington and Sticky Toffee Pudding, Lobster Risotto, Wagyu Meatballs, Pan Seared Scallops and Crispy Skin Salmon. Well-known cocktails such as the Smoke on the BLVD and Notes from Gordon will also be featured on the menu.
Restaurant General Manager Sarah Ertmann said: "It is an honor to open the first Gordon Ramsay Hell’s Kitchen in the state.
"This addition to Harrah's Resort SoCal only furthers our mission to provide guests with unforgettable experiences and Gordon Ramsay Hell’s Kitchen embodies just that."
Hell’s Kitchen dining hours at Harrah’s Resort Southern California are 4pm to 10pm from Sunday to Thursday and 4pm to 11pm on Friday and Saturday.
Along with its North America locations, Hell’s Kitchen has 43 international restaurants.
