The party will lavishly celebrate the career of the future NFL Hall of Famer.

The Mohegan Sun Casino will host the retirement party of NFL player Rob ‘Gronk’ Gronkowski on September 10 at its Connecticut venue. Gronk will celebrate his 11-year career at the 11,000 square-foot Mohegan Sun FanDuel sportsbook.

The party will feature drink specials, complimentary appetizers, the DJ Whoo Kid and the debut of the ‘Gronk Smash Burger,’ with tickets priced at $75. UFC 279 featuring Chimaev Vs. Diaz as the main card will also be displayed on the casino’s big screens.

Gronkowski is one of the most decorated players in the NFL’s history. He is beloved in New England, as Gronk ended his tenure with the Patriots in 2019, winning three Super Bowls along the way. Gronk later joined fellow Patriot icon, Tom Brady, at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, where the two lifted yet another trophy together in February of 2021.

Gronk is assured of a place in the NFL Hall of Fame. Across his impressive pro-career, he tallied five pro-bowl selections, 92 touchdowns, 9,286 receiving yards and 621 receptions.

Mohegan Sun guests can access the largest video wall on the East Coast, various kiosks and in-person betting options, a mezzanine level, a full dining menu and a cocktail bar. The casino-resort also has cash-at-counter facilities, which allow users to deposit or withdraw cash to or from their online service MoheganSunCasino or a FanDuel account inside the sportsbook.

Following the retirement party, Mohegan Sun’s nightlife venue, Avalon Nightclub, will host an after-party that begins at 11:30PM.
