Mohegan Sun FanDuel Sportsbook has introduced a ‘Next-Level Draft Party’ package deal, designed to please existing and potential clientele alike. The draft party deal will include hotel accommodations, exclusive draft boards and more, and comes in two versions.
This package will be available to book from August 14 - September 5. This date coincides with the highly anticipated start of the NFL league and the daily fantasy sports (DFS) betting that accompanies the onset of a new season.
In late June, Connecticut granted FanDuel special permission to carry on its fantasy sports and sports gambling businesses after a legal tussle. Subsequently, the company struck deals with the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation and Mohegan Tribe (the owner of Mohegan Sun), respectively.
The FanDuel Sportsbook aims to appeal to both veterans playing in point-per-reception leagues and casual bettors involved in standard scoring leagues. The sportsbook also offers dynasty, keeper and redraft leagues for seasoned DFS fans.
Reservations can be booked for leagues of up to 30 people. During the whirlwind start to the pro-football DFS season (August 14th – September 5th), customers will be able to pick from one of two exclusive Next-Level draft packages for their draft day.
Mohegan Sun will offer the ‘Elite Fantasy Football Hotel Package,’ which includes an overnight stay at Mohegan Sun's hotel, reserved seating at the Sportsbook, and a $50 food and beverage credit.
Meanwhile, Mohegan’s ‘Platinum Fantasy House Package’ offers reserved mezzanine seating for groups of up to 30 in the Sportsbook, a $150 food and beverage credit, and additional extras for the group.
Mohegan Sun is situated on 185 acres along the Thames River in southeastern Connecticut, and is home to two unique casinos, 1,600 deluxe hotel rooms, two spas and a golf course.
