The Global Biorisk Advisory Council (GBAC) has awarded the Yaamava’ Resort & Casino in San Manuel has a GBAC STAR Facility Accreditation.
The accreditation validates infection prevention programs, facility cleaning and disinfection measures that are used to maintain health and well-being, as well as prevent future biological risks.
GBAC Executive Director Patricia Olinger said: “Travelers and guests continue to demand cleanliness of the facilities they are visiting, even as we move into the post-Covid-19 pandemic phase.
“This third-party verification of Yaamava’s commitment to health and safety gives guests confidence that the resort is cleaned and disinfected to the highest standards.”
The Yaamava’ Resort & Casino is owned and operated by the San Manuel Band of Mission Indians in Highland, California. The resort is comprised of 432 luxury hotel rooms and suites, a 3,000-person capacity theater, ten bars and lounges, six dine-in restaurants and a full-service salon and spa.

ISSA is a global trade association for the cleaning industry with more than 10,500 members and is based in Rosemont, Illinois. The association also has offices in Germany, Canada, South Korea and China.
ISSA holds to “changing the way the world views cleaning by providing its members with the business tools they need to promote cleaning as an investment in human health, the environment and an improved bottom line.”
Its membership includes wholesalers, residential cleaners, distributors, manufacturers, manufacturer representatives, building service contractors, in-house service providers and associated service members.
