Mohegan Sun becomes first northeast casino to debut Dragon Link HD Progressive Slot Machines
The casino anticipates larger jackpot winnings with the new addition.
The new Dragon Link HD $1m progressive jackpot has been launched at Mohegan Sun in the High Limit Slot section near Sachem Lounge and Vista Lounge at Wombi Rock. The release makes Mohegan Sun the first northeast casino to feature the Dragon Link HD in-house progressive slot machines.
The jackpot game, created by Aristocrat, has a minimum bet of $25.00 a maximum bet of $2,500.
Dragon Link HD is among slot games that are well-known worldwide. During the recent EKG Slot Awards, the Dragon Link Happy & Prosperous title received recognition as the top performing premium game and the top performing proprietary branded game.
Mohegan Sun President and General Manager Jeff Hamilton commented: “We’re thrilled to roll out the Dragon Link in-house progressive games for our guests and to be the first destination in the Northeast to have them is also very exciting.”
He went on to add that the casino expects more winning now that the new slot games are in place.
“Mohegan Sun regularly has jackpots that exceed $1m and these new Aristocrat games will certainly contribute to more,” Hamilton said.
Mohegan Sun contains close to 4,000 slot machines and almost 300 table games across its Casino of the Earth and Casino of the Sky locations.
Grammy and Emmy Award-winning comedian Chris Rock was recently inducted into the Mohegan Sun Walk of Fame. The actor, writer and director is the 37th member to be received into the Walk of Fame fold.
The Walk recognizes individuals and organizations that contributed to the Mohegan Sun’s success as an entertainment venue.
Other notable inductees include the rock band Shinedown, Bon Jovi, Kevin Hart, KISS, Kenny Chesney and Keith Urban.
