Esports Technologies changes name to EBET, Inc.

The change reflects a company desire to engage a younger player demographic.

Esports Technologies, Inc. has undergone a corporate name change. The company has rebranded itself under the name EBET, Inc. The change is part of a company strategy to appeal to players from both the Millennial and Gen Z markets.

EBET anticipates that its common stock will begin immediate trading with its new name under CUSIP 278700109.

EBET CEO Aaron Speech said he hopes the rebrand will open doors to engage a younger demographic. The company chose the EBET name to better summarize its commitment to a variety and sports and casino fans, as well as esports enthusiasts.

Speech commented: "Our leadership team and I believe this is the right time to rebrand our company to reflect who we are and where we are going. This new brand and evolving positioning perfectly illustrate our growing ambition to serve the entire Millennial and Gen Z market."

EBET is a provides advanced sports wagering products and technology around the world. During the end of 2021, the company successfully closed its deal today to acquire Aspire Global’s B2C business for $75.9m. The acquisition brought with it an assortment of B2C’s online casino and sportsbook brands, including Karamba, Hopa, Griffon Casino, BetTarget, Dansk777, and GenerationVIP, as well as access to 1.25 million customers in more than 15 countries.

EBET plans to leverage the increased market access from the multiple-brand acquisition to cross-sell esports wagering opportunities to increase its esports revenue, player bet transactions, and customer base.

Additionally, the company has gained access to gaming licensing in Tier 1 regulated markets, including the United Kingdom, Germany, Ireland, Malta and Denmark.
