The Global Gaming Awards Las Vegas are back for the ninth year

The countdown to the Global Gaming Awards Las Vegas 2022 (and to G2E 2022) begins now.

The self-nominations window for the gaming industry’s most prestigious awards is now open.

Returning for the ninth year, the Global Gaming Awards Las Vegas will once again recognize the strongest performers in the Americas region across the previous 12 months.

“Last year’s edition of the Global Gaming Awards Las Vegas received so much interest, so of course we are very excited to start the process for the 2022 event,” said Julian Perry, Editor-in-Chief of Gaming America.

“It’s always interesting to see what companies say in their self-nominations, as there are so many impressive things they do throughout the year that we don’t always read about in the news,” he added.

Suppliers and operators have until May 15 to submit their self-nominations. To do so, they must simply go to globalgamingawards.com/vegas/ and fill in the short self-nominations form.

The fourteen categories for this year’s event are:

Land-Based Operator of the year, sponsored by IGT

Rewarding the casino operator that has gone above and beyond to create the best possible customer experience.

Digital Operator of the year

Recognizing the sports betting and/or igaming operator who drives forward the rapidly-evolving online gaming industry.

Land-Based Product of the year

Recognizing the product that improves players’ experience, or operators’ ability to run their casino.

Digital Product of the year

Acknowledging the game or management system that has enhanced the online gaming sector.

Land-Based industry Supplier of the year

Recognizing the efforts of the supplier who drives the development of brick-and-mortar casinos.

Digital Industry Supplier of the year

Rewarding the provider that online gaming operators rely on the most.

Customer Loyalty Program of the year, sponsored by Interblock

Recognizing the company that puts customer rewards at the heart of its operation.

Property – North America of the year

Acknowledging the property (new or old) that pushes the boundaries of customer experience in the North American land-based sector.

Property – LATAM of the year

Acknowledging the property (new or old) that pushes the boundaries of customer experience in the Latin American land-based sector.

Product Innovation of the year

Recognizing the most innovative product from either the online or the land-based verticals.

Slot of the year, sponsored by CasinoTrac

Rewarding the slot game that truly stood out from the rest on the casino floor.

Payment Solution of the year

Recognizing the safe, fast and efficient payment processors, wallets and the rapid change in this sector.

Responsible Business of the year

Acknowledging the company that goes to great lengths in its commitment to ESG.

American Executive of the year

Recognizing the executive whose efforts serve to drive their company (and the industry) forward.

The Global Gaming Awards Las Vegas 2022 are powered by Gaming America and Gambling Insider. Voting is independently adjudicated by KPMG in the Crown Dependencies and, as always, winners will be chosen by 100 C-level executives from the industry.

Winners will be announced on October 10, 2022 - Day 1 of the Global Gaming Expo (G2E).
