Aristocrat’s Neptune Canopy makes debut with Mohegan Sun

The product had an impressive showing at G2E 2021.

Aristocrat Gaming, one of the world's leading gaming companies, has announced the launch of its new cabinet, Neptune Canopy (pictured), in partnership with Mohegan Sun.

The design of this cabinet is a novel one, allowing two games to be placed back-to-back to create what Aristocrat describes as a “canopy” for games to become more visually impressive.

The launch of this product is a boon to Mohegan Sun properties and with this, the operator’s President and General Manager, Jeff Hamilton, has expressed his excitement.

"The Neptune Canopy game is a stand-out addition to Casino of the Earth here at Mohegan Sun," he said

"Our casinos offer more than 4,000 slot machines, and this Aristocrat game immediately becomes one of the most unique, immersive and fun-filled games we feature for our guests."

This product impressed at G2E 2021 and, similarly to Aristocrat’s other Neptune cabinets, features a 4K display, a virtual button deck, a custom-designed chair, and a full audio suite.

"The Neptune Canopy is the latest example of Aristocrat's industry-leading and innovative thinking and provides an unbelievably fun gaming experience for players. We are proud of our development teams who, once again, have created a milestone in the industry's history," noted Jon Hanlin, Senior Vice President of Commercial Strategy and Business Analytics.

2021 was a successful year for Mohegan Sun as the land-based industry continued to recover from the Covid-19 pandemic. Reflective of this, the operator’s Q4 financial results, which were released last month, showed a 33.1% increase in net revenues, rising from $294m to $391.2m.
