The Las Vegas Raiders have agreed to a partnership with MGM Resorts that makes the hospitality and entertainment company the official gaming partner of the NFL franchise.

The Raiders also named MGM Resorts as a founding partner of Allegiant Stadium.

MGM Resorts will serve as the home of the Raiders pre and post-game party.

The agreement gives MGM Resorts significant marketing space in Allegiant Stadium year-round.

MGM Resorts CEO Jim Murren said: “We couldn't be more excited to partner with the Raiders and to welcome professional football to Las Vegas. Las Vegas is becoming one of the top sports destinations in the world, and this partnership is a natural fit of culture and vision. Together, we look forward to creating unique and world-class entertainment experiences for our guests and Raiders fans."

The announcement came a day after the franchise formally rebranded itself as the Las Vegas Raiders.

MGM Resorts will receive naming rights for an exclusive bar and luxury lounge at Allegiant Stadium.

Raiders President Marc Badain said: “The Raiders are thrilled to welcome MGM Resorts International as our newest Founding Partner. GM Resorts is an institution in the gaming and hospitality industry and the activations they have planned for Raider games and all events at Allegiant Stadium will bring their best-in-class expertise to the entertainment experience.”

The Raiders previously named M Resort Spa Casino as the official team headquarters hotel.
