Betfred has agreed to a deal with Saratoga Casino Black Hawk to open a full sportsbook and offer sports betting throughout Colorado.
This marks the first Colorado partnership for Betfred, which opened a US subsidiary last year.

Saratoga Casino Black Hawk is located 40 miles west of Denver and holds 425 slot machines and 10 table games.

The casino is owned and operated by Saratoga Casino Holdings.

Saratoga Casino Black Hawk President Daniel Gerrity said: “We are excited to have Betfred as our sports wagering partner. With over 50 years of international experience in the industry, it's a great opportunity to leverage their expertise along with the Saratoga brand to become the market leader in sports wagering inColorado."

Colorado voters narrowly approved a sports betting ballot measure last November.

The state has 33 casinos eligible to provide sports wagering across the mountain towns of Black Hawk, Central City and Cripple Creek.

Sports betting is expected to launch in May.

Betfred Group COO Mark Stebbings said: “We are delighted to partner with Saratoga Casino Black Hawk. This is an exciting opportunity for both companies and we look forward to sharing our joint expertise to provide excellent service and value for sports bettors both on premise in Black Hawk and online to the people within the state of Colorado."

Betfred is slowly integrating into the US market.

Last July the bookmaker agreed to a partnership with Elite Casino Resorts in Iowa.
