Eric Hausler is set to become the new CEO of Greenwood Racing, the company that owns and operates the Philadelphia-based Parx Casino.

Hausler, subject to approval from the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board, will begin on 20 January.

He succeeds Anthony Ricci, who retired last year without an immediate successor.

Parx Casino is located north of Philadelphia City Center, with 150,000 square foot of gaming and 132 live table games.

Hausler has previously been CEO of Isle of Capri Casinos, as well as Isle’s CFO among other roles.

Hausler has also served as Senior Vice President of Development for Trump Entertainment Resorts, and in different roles with Bear Stearns & Co, Susquehanna Financial Group and Deutsche Bank Securities Inc.

Parx recently signed an agreement with Evolution Gaming, a provider of live casino solutions, to lead the casino’s launch of online live dealer casino services in two US states.

Players will be able to play a range of online streamed live dealer table games from Evolution’s New Jersey studio and its planned Pennsylvania studio.
