The Rush Street Interactive-owned iGaming platform will launch its real-money online casino and sports betting platforms for the region in the coming months.

Rush Street Interactive (RSI) has today announced its intention to enter the Canadian gaming market through the launch of its platform, BetRivers, in Ontario.

Concurrently, the company has confirmed its free-to-play platform, Casino4Fun, will be available on mobile, tablets, and desktops at BetRivers’ official website from today.

"Our expansion into Canada represents an exciting new frontier for RSI and continues our growth across the Americas,” said Richard Schwartz, chief executive officer of RSI.

This marks RSI’s first venture into the growing Canadian iGaming market and will see players gain access to the same content as their United States and Latin American counterparts.

The platform features 350 slot machines and table games while having a number of loyalty features. RSI also plans to launch its sportsbook in the region after single sports betting was legalized throughout Canada earlier this year.

“Casino4Fun offers our community of players the same high level of entertainment and customer service of RSI’s real-money gaming platform, delivered in a casual and free-to-play setting. We look forward to providing a truly differentiated gaming experience for players in Ontario that is focused on fostering player trust and enjoyment,” added Schwartz.

RSI estimates the online real-money casino and sportsbook will launch in the coming months, subject to regulatory and licensing approval. Meanwhile, RSI hopes Casino4Fun will allow the brand to expand its presence in the region prior to the platform’s true launch.

This entry into Canada marks the third country to feature RSI’s real-money product, following the United States, and Colombia.

Rush Street Interactive is currently the fourth-largest online casino operator in the United States, the gaming group is licensed to operate in Pennsylvania, Illinois, New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Michigan, Indiana, Virginia, Colorado, Iowa, and West Virginia.
