Resorts World New York City debuts Hyatt Regency

Resorts World New York City has debuted the Hyatt Regency JFK Airport, adding a 400-room hotel to the Queens casino.
The hotel includes 275 king rooms, 91 double rooms and 34 suites. Many of the guestrooms provide floor-to-ceiling window views of the New York City skyline.
The $400m hotel expansion features a Sugar Factory Restaurant, state-of-the-art conference center and additional gaming spaces as well as a grand lobby that connects the hotel with RWNYC.
“There is no better way to celebrate Resorts World’s 10th anniversary than with the opening of this world-class hotel in New York City,” said Bob DeSalvio, President of Genting Americas East. “We are honored to collaborate with Hyatt and so proud to welcome guests from all over the world and provide them with a truly unparalleled casino resort experience in the heart of New York. While the hotel has always been part of our vision, today’s ribbon cutting takes on additional significance as we celebrate the Queens community and do our part to move New York Forward.”
Counting the Hyatt Regency, Genting has spent more than $1.1bn in RWNYC development.
Resorts World continues to invest heavily across the Empire State. Resorts World Catskills opened in 2018 with 65,000 square feet of gaming space including 112 table games and 2,150 slots.
Earlier this summer Resorts World broke ground on a video lottery gaming casino in Hudson Valley. The $32m project will bring 1,300 video gaming machines to the revitalized Newburgh Mall.
