Israeli live sports and sports betting data provider LSports has today announced earning a sports betting license in Colorado.
Lasting two years, the license will allow LSports to supply Colorado operators with its suite of sports betting data tools.
Colorado legalized sports betting in May 2020.
Bettors may place bets in authorized sportsbooks both land-based and online. June saw the state bring in sports betting revenue of $19.7m, a drop from the previous month.
Speaking on the agreement Dotan Lazar, CEO and co-founder of LSports, commented: “We are moving forward as planned, within the different states and growing together with our strategic partners. We’ve been going in full force these past few months, and are working to push further in the coming years.”
This news comes as the data company continues its attempts to expand its US footprint. Earlier this year, the company announced partnerships with both the American Ultimate Disc League and the American Flag Football League (AFFL).
The agreement with the AFFL is valued at $6m and gains LSports exclusive data distribution rights to the league. The agreement was signed in the summer of 2021 and will last for five years. LSports will also have exclusive rights to generate live odds and statistics for all games taking place in the 2022 season.
“We’ve long since recognized the American market growth and we expect it to greatly evolve in the next few years,” added Lazar. “The agreement with AFFL definitely secures LSports a place there. This deal positions LSports next to a select few who own exclusive rights to official sports, highlighting our unique offerings. AFFL odds will be a great addition to our already vast offerings.”
