The move comes as part of the group's launch into the Brazilian market

Mobius Interactive Ltd. has announced it has signed an agreement to display its Mobius.Bet brand on Brazilian national TV for the South American 2022 World Cup qualifiers.

The online esports entertainment and gaming company’s Mobius.Bet brand will be displayed for eight of Brazil’s qualifiers, beginning with the match against Ecuador on 3 June 2021, and ending with the match against Argentina on 16 November 2021.

“Brazil is the biggest esports and gaming market in Latin America and is experiencing unprecedented growth,” a statement from Mobius read. “Mobius is perfectly positioned to take advantage of this lucrative emerging market.”

The announcement from Mobius comes as part of its launch into the Brazilian market, with the qualifiers expected to attract an average audience of 35 million people per match on Globo TV, while the fixture against Argentina is expected to reach over 40 million viewers.

“As we go to market in Brazil with a great opportunity, Mobius.Bet will be showcased in all the stadiums, featuring the best teams in Latin America,” said Mobius Interactive CEO Lynn Pearce.

“I don’t believe we could have wished for a better launchpad to introduce ourselves to the sports enthusiasts and betting community in this region. The team at Mobius are ecstatic to be a part of these events; we are just as excited about the games as the Brazilian fans are – all the way to Qatar in 2022.”
