Technology provider unveils two new media applications.

Sports technology company Stats Perform on Tuesday said it is launching PressBox, which it described as an all-in-one online platform for data-driven insights, video clip discovery and data research.

Stats Perform uses AI and machine learning to offer sports data to sportsbooks, teams and the media.

The company said the release of the PressBox platform includes two new media applications – PressBox Live and PressBox Video.

According to a statement by the company, sports media organizations face a “near-insurmountable challenge” of producing high-quality analysis, graphics, video and more within moments during a live event.

Nancy Hensley, Stats Perform’s chief product and marketing officer, said PressBox addresses these challenges by compiling tools in one place, powered by Stats Perform’s sports data. She said PressBox users can create a unique fan experience by improving production efforts, reducing time to insight and enriching commentary.

“Key narratives which might have taken researchers 10 crucial minutes to uncover are served in mere moments to PressBox users,” Hensley said.

PressBox Live is a real-time sports media dashboard. The company said this application provides detailed player and team statistics, insights and new AI-powered metrics to tell a deeper sports story.

PressBox Live includes Advanced metrics such as live win probability and expected goals that adjust constantly with the action, the company said.

PressBox Video is a personal video content assistant designed to transform the conventional video clip discovery, editing and publishing process. If offers in-app, cloud-based video editing software.
