Nevada gaming revenue hits $1.36bn for July 2025, Las Vegas Strip revenue grows 5.6%

The Nevada Gaming Control Board (NGCB) has released the state’s total gaming activity throughout July 2025, as revenue increased 4% from the prior-year period to $1.36bn, led by Clark County, Nevada which accounted for nearly $1.2bn of the total and rose 3.2% year-over-year.
The Las Vegas Strip area of Nevada reported a July 2025 gaming revenue of $749.1m, equating to an increase of 5.6%, as baccarat revenue grew 79% to $114.5m throughout the month.
Slot revenue accounted for $428.2m of the strip’s total revenue for July 2025, increasing 2.2%. Over the past 12 months, however, Las Vegas Strip gaming revenue has fallen 3% to $8.8bn, as many in the city still fear a consistent drop in tourism over the same timeframe.
For local casinos, revenue for July 2025 witnessed a decrease of 1.5% for a total of $275.4m, as slot revenue still rose 1.2% for the region despite table game play falling by 13.9%.
In Downtown Las Vegas, gaming revenue was reported to be $74.4m, equating to an increase of 3.6%, while North Las Vegas managed a revenue total of nearly $24.7m and grew 7.8%. Laughlin, Nevada and the Boulder Strip each witnessed decreases in July 2025 gaming revenue of 7.1% and 1.1%, respectively, to produce $41m and $84.8m throughout the period.

The NGCB also reported gaming activity for Washoe County, Nevada, which generated $102.8m of gaming revenue for an increase of 7.4%, primarily led by the city of Reno which accounted for just over $76.1m of revenue and rose 9.9% year-over-year. Sparks and North Lake Tahoe reported July 2025 revenues of $15.7m and $3.1m, respectively, equating to an increase of 3.2%, but a decrease of 15% for North Lake Tahoe.
South Lake Tahoe, on the other hand, managed to increase its July 2025 gaming revenue by 21.5% for a total of $37.7m, while the Carson Valley Area produced an additional $12.4m of gaming revenue to grow 8.9%. Elko County was the only region of Nevada to report a decrease in gaming revenue for July 2025, falling 0.8% to generate $32.4m throughout the month.
Mesquite, Nevada, which is home to casinos such as Eureka Casino Resort, Virgin River Casino & Lodge and CasaBlanca Resort & Casino, reported a July 2025 gaming revenue of $15.1m, managing to increase by 9.9%.
