Mohegan Sun appoints Mary Wren to VP of Hotel Operations, Chris Greaney to VP of Food & Beverage

Wren began her career with Mohegan Sun during 2002, having served with the property’s first-ever hotel team, while Greaney originally started with Mohegan Sun in 2014.

Mohegan Sun has appointed Mary Wren to the role of VP of Hotel Operations, where she will lead strategic planning for the overall hotel team and the Environmental Services (EVS) team, as well as Chris Greaney to VP of Food & Beverage. 

Wren originally began her career at Mohegan Sun during 2002, having served with the property’s first-ever hotel team before holding the roles of Front Office Manager, Hotel Manager and Director of Operations. She is also said to have played an integral role in launching Mohegan Pennsylvania’s first hotel in 2013 and opening Mohegan Sun’s second hotel tower, Earth Tower, in 2016.

Greaney began his career at Mohegan Sun in 2014 as the Service Manager at Bar American, but will now oversee all areas of Mohegan Sun’s owned or managed restaurant, lounge and nightlife offerings as VP of Food & Beverage.

Good to know: Mohegan Sun announced the launch of the Squid Game slot machines throughout the property on December 16, created by Light & Wonder and based on the acclaimed television show

Greaney was also said to have played a key role in recent Mohegan Sun beverage partnerships with regional brands such as Waypoint Spirits, Downeast Cider and Two Roads Brewing Company.

In addition to the hires announced on February 24, Mohegan Sun also appointed Doug Vogelei to the role of VP of Gaming on January 13. 

Vogelei currently provides strategic vision, oversight and alignment of gaming operations in collaboration with the property’s gaming leadership team, and will be joining Gaming America for an exclusive interview as part of the upcoming March/April issue.
