Circa Sports Kentucky is set to open the facility on August 12, subject to regulatory gaming approvals.

Circa Sports Kentucky has announced the launch of a temporary retail sportsbook facility at the Mint Gaming Hall Kentucky Downs following the successful introduction of the operator’s mobile offering earlier this year. The temporary facility is set to open on August 12, subject to regulatory gaming approvals.

“Launching a sportsbook in a new state is a significant milestone for any operator, and we couldn’t think of a better venue than The Mint Gaming Hall,” Circa Sports CEO Derek Stevens said.

“Kentucky’s passion for sports makes it an ideal location, and we’re excited to offer customers a unique betting experience, combining some of the best odds in the industry with top-tier service.”

Circa Sports will provide an in-person betting experience at its new location until the debut of the permanent retail sportsbook, slated for summer 2025.

The Circa Sports Kentucky app is available through a partnership with the Cumberland Run property in Corbin, Kentucky, and can be downloaded and funded remotely from anywhere in the state.

The operator launched its mobile betting app in Kentucky via a licensing agreement with ECL Corbin at its Cumberland Run harness track. Wagers on the Circa Sports Kentucky app can only be made while the user is within Kentucky state lines.

"Today marks the beginning of an exciting journey into the world of sports, where every page tells a story of passion, victory and determination," Mint Gaming Hall GM Jordan Mirkovic said.

"As we open the doors to our new sportsbook and great partnership with Circa’s amazing team, we invite you to immerse yourself in the thrill of the game and the beauty of competition.”

Circa Sports’ mobile app is available in Colorado and Iowa as well, while Circa Sports also launched in Illinois last year with its mobile betting app and at a temporary casino in Waukegan, Illinois at American Place in partnership with Full House Resorts.

The company expanded its operations to northern Nevada in collaboration with Olympia Gaming’s new Legends Bay Casino in Sparks as well.
