Cordish Gaming Group appoints Joshua Robinson as VP of Marketing for Louisiana property

Robinson will lead strategic marketing efforts for the destination set to open during Q1 2025.
Cordish Gaming Group, the gaming division of the Cordish Companies, has announced the appointment of Joshua Robinson as VP of Marketing for the new Live! Casino and Hotel Louisiana property. The $270m-plus destination is set to debut in Bossier City during Q1 2025 and will be the first land-based casino in the Shreveport-Bossier market.
As VP of Marketing, Mr. Robinson will lead the strategic development and execution of marketing initiatives at the venue.
His responsibilities include providing leadership for the marketing department’s daily operations, including overseeing all details of marketing programs, loyalty initiatives, creative strategies, traditional and social media campaigns, advertising, sponsorships and more.
He previously served as CMO at Golden Nugget Hotel and Casino, VP of Marketing at L’Auberge Casino Resort and VP of Marketing and Hotel Operations at Margaritaville Resort Casino.

The Live! Casino and Hotel Louisiana project is expected to deliver $35m in gaming tax revenues for Bossier City and over $168m for the state of Louisiana within the first five years of operation.
Upon its grand opening, Live! Casino & Hotel Louisiana will unveil more than 47,000 square feet of gaming space, featuring over 1,000 slot machines and 40 live-action table games, complemented by a sportsbook.
