Daniel Haight announced as new COO of Stokastic
Haight joins the company from Yahoo Sports where he spent the previous eight years building its paid gaming products ecosystem.
Sports betting and daily fantasy sports (DFS) provider Stokastic has announced the addition of Daniel Haight as the company’s new COO, effective June 17.
“Adding Dan to our executive team is a game-changer. His unparalleled expertise and passion for DFS and sports betting align perfectly with our mission to deliver the ultimate experience for sports gamers,” Stokastic CEO Tom Kennedy said.
“Haight’s deep understanding of the industry and his track record of driving growth and innovation make him the perfect fit for Stokastic as we continue to push boundaries and redefine what’s possible.”
Haight joins Stokastic from Yahoo Sports where he spent the last eight years helping to build its paid gaming products ecosystem, overseeing all operational aspects including product development, business strategy and P&L management. He oversaw the launches of Yahoo Daily Fantasy, Yahoo Best Ball and Yahoo sportsbook.

Having attended the UCLA Anderson School of Management and the University of Michigan, Haight is also a member of the Fantasy Sports and Gaming Association (FSGA) board. He currently chairs the Awards and Research Committee for the Association.
Stokastic was founded in 2017 and remains as an employee-owned company currently based in Chicago, Illinois. Originally founded as Awesomo.com, the company rebranded to Stokastic in July of 2022.
