This renaming underlines its transformation into an expert analytics enterprise.

Awesemo.com has rebranded as Stokastic to highlight its transformation into a multi-platform sports media and analytics enterprise. The company hopes the new branding will help them scale for future growth, unify a growing portfolio and attract superior talent.

Founded in 2017 by Daily Fantasy Sports fans, the newly-minted Stokastic introduced a more calculated and process-oriented approach to sports gambling. Over the last five years, the company has scaled upward, maturing into a major media operation with over 100 contributors across its online properties covering MLB, NFL, NBA and other sports.

The company's accelerated growth has enabled it to diversify. Stokastic has invested heavily in extending its suite of fantasy sports and sports betting products while refining its legacy offerings.

Stokastic CEO and co-founder Tom Kennedy has reflected on the company’s upward trajectory. He says: “So much has changed since our founding. We've welcomed talented content creators, the sharpest data scientists and engineers in sports, and most importantly, a loyal community of passionate sports gamers."

The reasons behind the rebranding are rooted in Stokastic’s desire to express the ‘stochastic process’ of the company, which now uses statistical models to reveal critical patterns and insights. As Kennedy comments: “Changing the brand to Stokastic is both a nod to our team's statistical savvy and to all of the individuals that have made this company a huge success."

Stokastic intends to release a plethora of new products and content imminently, most notably on its OddsShopper platform. They hope these additions will enhance its ability to drive traffic and attention to other sportsbooks and gaming products.

As Stokastic co-founder Eddie Lai observes,”The rebrand comes at a pivotal time and allows us to open the next chapter of innovation, which we're looking forward to sharing with our community."
