Konami Gaming, Inc. designs and manufactures casino management systems (CMS) and slot machines and is a subsidiary of Konami Group Corporation. The supplier is based in Las Vegas, Nevada and delivers its products throughout the global gaming market. Steve Sutherland serves as the company’s President and CEO.
Konami Gaming was founded in 1997. Since its inception, the company has evolved to provide both slots and CMS to an international market. Its parent company, Konami Group Corporation, began in 1973 and was founded by Kagemasa Kōzuki.
Throughout its nearly 30-year history, Konami Gaming has grown to specialize in multiple markets that include casino gaming, casino management systems, player tracking systems, data warehousing, game design and slot systems.
Konami Gaming’s reach has extended beyond the US to include casinos around the globe. The company recently debuted its Dimension series in Peru.
In addition to several product launches, the company has formed notable and strategic partnerships throughout its history. Konami recently partnered with Caesars Sportsbook & Casino to make its real money titles available through the Caesars Digital platform.
Through the partnership, players in Michigan, Pennsylvania and Michigan, as well as in the Canadian province of Ontario can access Konami slot titles on Caesars platform.
President and CEO Steve Sutherland described the collaboration as a win for the companies as well as for players.
He commented on the collaboration by saying, “The iconic Konami slot characters, bonuses, features, and sounds that players find at the casino have launched online through Caesars, with real money wagering.
“As a result, more people in more places can enjoy the entertainment they know and love, with convenience and comfort.”
