The company is a leading developer of technology-based products and services for worldwide payments, gaming, and financial services markets. Its international portfolio includes payment kiosks, cash access systems, server and web-based analytic technology, and interactive content and services.

Passport Technology was formed in 2016 by a group of executives who had a history in the ATM and payment transaction industry. For instance, John Steely, now the COO of Passport Technology, founded ASAI in 1996 to meet the demanding needs of the rapidly growing ATM marketplace.

He wanted to incorporate a full range of ATM products and services under one roof and he would go on to achieve this with Passport Technology.

The company has come a long way since its founding six years ago. Through its privileged gaming licenses and payment sponsorships, Passport securely and responsibly settled over $45bn in funds to casino floors globally. It has 222 locations across six countries.

The company described its innovative design studio is located in downtown Glendale, California. It was in this location that it invented many of the features that would bring Passport great success and global outreach.

Amongst its most pioneering innovations is CashStream, a kiosk that acts as the hub of Passport’s payment ecosystem on the casino floor. CashStream’s robust componentry, functionality and real-time analytics allow casino patrons to easily navigate payments while gambling at retail casinos.
