FanDuel partners with Operation Hope to encourage responsible gambling

The operator says it remains focused on empowering players to bet responsibly.

FanDuel has teamed up with the nationally known non-profit Operation Hope to empower Massachusetts players and encourage responsible gaming.

Operation Hope will work with FanDuel to offer free financial counseling to residents throughout the state through a program called Hope Inside. Players can gain free access to in-person financial health sessions with a financial wellbeing coach, as well as to resources that can help improve credit scores and manage entertainment spending.

Operation Hope President and CFO Brian Betts took a moment to further explain the program.

He said, “Hope Inside is designed to equip clients with the tools and resources required to make informed decisions about their finances.

“Through this partnership with FanDuel, we can help empower those who want to learn how to take control of their finances, which can ultimately lead to less stress and a higher quality of life.”

FanDuel said in a statement, “The partnership marks an important evolution of FanDuel’s commitment to responsible gaming practices by improving access to personal financial literacy education.”

FanDuel President Christian Genetski commented, “Operation Hope’s work has demonstrated that when individuals have a strong foundation of financial literacy, they are better equipped to manage their spending responsibly.
