Fanatics Sportsbook soft launches in Connecticut
The full launch will take place on December 18.
Fanatics Betting and Gaming has soft launched retail and online sports betting in Connecticut, ahead of a full launch in the state on Monday December 18.
For the soft launch, taking place this week, 2,000 online customers will be accepted to try out the Fanatics Sportsbook online version.
Once Monday comes around, those interested in sports betting in the Nutmeg State will be able to download the Fanatics Sportsbook app on both iOS and Android, and can visit any of Fanatics’ 10 retail sports betting locations, with Connecticut becoming the ninth state for the Fanatics Sportsbook.
The Fanatics Sportsbook will offer new features to online customers in Connecticut, including an app built natively on iOS and Android, a loyalty program known as FanCash, a Fanatics Sportsbook Discover Page which will soon be personalized to the customers favorite teams (this in particular has been touted within the industry) and more.
On top of the launch of the sportsbook, Fanatics is set to upgrade the 10 CT Lottery run retail locations in Connecticut with new signage, enhanced odds screens and new self-service betting kiosks from SuzoHapp.
Through this, the Fanatics Sportsbook will be the official odds provider for all CT Lottery retail sports betting locations and offer legal betting markets for a variety of sports.
Near the end of November, Fanatics launched a sportsbook in Virginia, which at the time marked the seventh state where Fanatics was live; previous PointsBet accounts in the state have been migrated to the platform.
