Oneida Indian Nation debuts new Turning Stone Casino sports betting lounge

The Tribe will also rebrand two more casino sportsbooks under the TS Sports name.
Turning Stone Casino Resort will open its latest nightlife venue, NY Rec & Social Club on December 18, according to a NewYorkUpstate.com local report.
The debut will coincide with the relocation and rebranding of Turning Stone’s sports betting lounge.
The Oneida Indian Nation said in a recent release that NY Rec & Social Club “bridges the gap between sportsbook and lounge.”
The lounge can seat up to 200 and will feature table betting games like blackjack and craps, as well as foosball, shuffleboard, darts and billiards. Players will have access to watch games on 60 high-definition televisions throughout the venue.
Along with the Turning Stone renovations, the Oneida Indian Nation has plans in the works to rebrand two more of its casino sports betting venues at YBR Casino and Point Place Casino. Both have operated under the branding name Caesar’s Sport through an ongoing partnership since 2019.
The Tribe going forward will operate the sports books under its own brand, TS Sports, which will offer players access to its own rewards program instead of one through Caesars.
Oneida Indian Nation Representative and Turning Stone Enterprises CEO Ray Halbritter briefly discussed the rebrand in a recent news release.
He commented, “Caesars has been a valuable partner in our efforts to establish our sports books as the most exciting places for fans to watch the big game and place their wagers.
“The launch of TS Sports will help us continue this tradition as we further evolve these venues and the experience they offer.”
In related news, Tourism Economics, an Oxford Economics company, recently compiled a report on the Oneida Indian Nation’s economic impact throughout the New York region.
According to the data, the Tribe through its visitor spending, varied operational spend and varied payments during the past fiscal year has “had a $1.06bn economic impact on the region.”
