Tulalip Resort Casino to expand and upgrade

The renovation will begin before the end of this year and is slated to be completed by the end of 2025.
The Tulalip Tribes has announced the expansion of the 20-year-old Tulalip Resort Casino in the Marysville area of Tulalip, Washington. A 70,250-square-foot extension will bring the total size of the casino to 262,000 square feet.
The existing structure will also be renovated, though no construction costs were shared for the project. The original building cost around $78m to build before its 2003 opening.
In 2016 a $15m renovation also took place, and in 2017 the Tulalip Tribes began work on the nearby $100m Quil Ceda Greek Casino. According to local reports, this renovation will include “several new interior and exterior features and upgrades.”
Construction fencing will be erected next week while construction work itself will begin sometime before the end of this year. Tulalip Tribes spokesperson Dan Miller said the project should be finished by the end of the year 2025.
Marci Fryberg, President and COO of Tulalip Gaming, said, “This project exemplifies our continued devotion to providing guests with all the comforts, amenities and services one expects in a premier destination resort.”
The current venue is home to a 12-story hotel with 370 rooms, as well as 30,000 square feet of multipurpose space used for meetings, conventions and weddings, a full-service spa, various restaurants and an ampitheater with 3,000 seats.
DraftKings is the sports betting operator for the property and opened two retail sportsbook at Tulalip Tribes properties back in 2022.
