Genius Sports partners with NFL for BetVision; Fanatics and Caesars among customers
Fans can access BetVision through Fanatics Sportsbook and Caesars Sportsbook.
Genius Sports, in partnership with the NFL, has debuted BetVision, which is an immersive sports wagering platform that offers fans statistics, insights, integrated bet slips and real-time augmentations within an interactive player. The launch will offer fans around the US access to live NFL games.
Football fans can place bets within the live video player on the sportsbook app, as well as access NFL content on mobile and tablet devices.
The company said in a statement, “BetVision is a uniquely personalized product that allows users to toggle on and off content and stats to create a tailored viewing experience based on their individual preferences.”
Genius Sports CEO Mark Locke elaborated further on the release by saying, “BetVision is leading a new era of immersive sports experiences. The launch brings together our capabilities across data tracking, video streaming, live data and sports wagering to create a game-changing product for sportsbooks.
“Sports fans and bettors alike increasingly demand personalized interaction, greater customisation and deeper insights combined with an ability to strike a bet seamlessly. BetVision alone offers precisely that, while giving sports betting operators a new way to drive engagement and accelerate the growth of in-game betting.”
As the NFL’s official sports betting data feed to media companies, Genius Sports serves as the league’s exclusive real-time and play-by-play statistics distributor.
NFL VP Business Development & Strategic Investments Brent Lawton said the league is excited to launch BetVision with Genius Sports.
He commented, “We’re very pleased to be Genius’ first BetVision content partner as they continue to be on the cutting edge of sports betting experiences.
“BetVision allows us to create a differentiated way for fans to engage with NFL content.”
As part of the initial release, Caesars Sportsbook and Fanatics Sportsbook will be the first to offer BetVision to sports betting fans. Both sportsbooks will feature live streams of local, regional and national NFL games during the week.
