Ellis Island Hotel & Casino becomes Las Vegas Grand Prix partner

The casino is located near Turn 4 of the Formula 1 race, and will offer viewing and hotel packages named for its place along the track.
Ellis Island Hotel & Casino has announced that it will be an official partner of the Formula 1 Heineken Silver Las Vegas Grand Prix on the official Strip Circuit. The venue will offer race viewing and hotel packages as part of Turn 4 at Ellis Island Casino.
The hotel is the nearest hotel-casino to the Paddock Building on Koval Lane, with a view of Turn 4 of the track. The race weekend will offer guests the ability to view from locations at either the Grandstand or the Front Yard, and include exclusive room and ticket deals.
Christina Ellis, VP of Development at Ellis Island Hotel & Casino said, “We’re not a mega-resort on the Las Vegas Strip, but we have one of the best sightlines for the upcoming race.
“As an official venue, we are excited to announce Turn 4 at Ellis Island Casino. We’re looking forward to hosting unique viewing parties and offering hotel packages to locals and visitors, and most importantly, provide the hospitality and fun we’ve been known for over the last 55 years.”
Tickets to the grandstand viewing experience will also include complimentary food provided by Ellis Island Hotel & Casino restaurants, as well as access to cash bars and entertainment. The Front Yard will be a hybrid indoor/outdoor beer garden viewing option, parallel to the track, complete with an observation deck.
Emily Prazer, CCO for the Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix commented on the location’s proximity to the track as well. “One of the benefits of building a street circuit is that we can leverage existing venues along the track and partner to create fun, unique viewing options that live up to the quality and standards that our fans expect from an F1 race.
“We are excited to have Ellis Island as an ‘Official Venue of the Las Vegas Strip Circuit’ and look forward to having them put their personal touch on the Las Vegas Grand Prix experience.”
The Formula 1 race is predicted to generate $1bn for the city of Las Vegas this November.
