Hard Rock Casino Cincinnati to host the Moneymaker tour
The event will run from September 21 to October 2.
The Moneymaker Tour has announced a 12-day series, featuring 18 events at Hard Rock Casino Cincinnati from September 21 to October 2, 2023.
This tour was created by 2003 World Series of Poker Champion, Chris Moneymaker, and Tony Burns, Moneymaker’s Executive Manager.
Buy-ins range from $86 to $1,500, offering a price point for every type of player with more than $2m in guarantees.
The Moneymaker Mystery Bounty event is a $600 buy-in with a $500,000 guaranteed prize pool. The Bounty event will run from Thursday, September 21 to Sunday, September 24.
The Moneymaker Main Event will have a $1,500 buy-in with a $1m guaranteed prize pool and will be hosted on Wednesday, September 27 to Monday October 2.
Moneymaker’s 2003 win was said to have revolutionized poker as he was the first person to become a world champion after qualifying at an online poker site. Twenty years later, perhaps this is a chance for someone to recreate history?
