Ultimate Football Challenge returns to Golden Nugget Las Vegas
Registration for the NFL and NCAA Division I challenge begins June 30.
Golden Nugget Las Vegas has brought back its college and professional football handicapping contest, Ultimate Football Challenge. The unique challenge is the only one in Vegas that allows participants to choose from all NFL and NCAA Division I players.
Players can enter for a fee of $1,000 and the contest will start June 30. The challenge will run for the full 18 weeks of football season, with the first games beginning Wednesday, September 6. Registration for the contest will close on September 5. The final week’s plays will end on Friday, January 5.
Contestants who finish in the top 20 of total points scored will receive a percentage of a prize pool with “even more chances to win.” The first-place winner will be awarded 40% of the pool, with percentages decreasing steadily down to 2% of the pool for 8th-10th place. 20 final winners below 10th place will receive $1,000 each.
Golden Nugget Las Vegas will show football games at its sportsbook lounge with more TVs per square foot than any other in the state of Nevada. Guests wishing to play the Ultimate Football Challenge must visit the casino’s sportsbook in person or designate a proxy to enter on their behalf.
The contest is open to all interested players over 21, who are not excluded from Golden Nugget’s sportsbook.
Earlier this month, Circa Sports also announced the return of its Circa Millions and Circa Survivor NFL contests, playable in Nevada. These contests also cost $1,000 per entrant. Circa Resort & Casino is known for the world’s largest sportsbook.
