Michigan: Red Tiger releases progressive jackpot games
The state joins Connecticut and two Canadian provinces which currently offer timed slot titles.
Evolution-owned slots supplier Red Tiger has launched a series of progressive jackpot games in the state of Michigan. The company said it has confirmed that four operators are scheduled to go live in the state over the next few weeks, pending regulatory approval.
Michigan players can access more than 48 jackpot titles. Each slot game features two progressive jackpots that users can configure on their own. Players can set up the progressive jackpots so that they will hit before a certain time.
Red Tiger’s jackpot titles offer a standard Mini Jackpot that starts at $100, along with a Daily Jackpot that most players configure starting at $1,000. The provider said the majority of its users configure play to finish during peak hours, which run between 9PM and 11PM.
Evolution Chief Commercial Officer North America Jeff Millar commented: “We’re very excited to be launching jackpot games in Michigan today. Our unique timed jackpot mechanic will create a sense of excitement amongst players, a thrill that can only come from this countdown effect.

In addition to its recent Michigan launch, Red Tiger currently operates in Connecticut, as well as in the Canadian provinces of Ontario and Quebec.
Progressive jackpot options are in widespread use throughout Europe. However, Red Tiger is currently the only provider that offers timed slot titles in the US.
