Hard Rock extends its Messi Burger following Argentina’s World Cup triumph
Hard Rock customers who watched the World Cup at Hard Rock will be eligible for a free burger.
Hard Rock Café has extended its Messi Burger Champion’s Edition until February 2023 following his 2022 FIFA World Cup triumph with Argentina.
The food and beverage division of Hard Rock International says this extension is in support of football fans “rejoicing” Lionel Messi’s World Cup triumph.
Messi is a partner of Hard Rock through its Live Greatness campaign and teamed up with the brand to launch the Messi Burger Champion’s Edition earlier this year.
Hard Rock is also giving customers who watched the World Cup final at one of its locations a voucher for a free Messi Burger upon their next visit.
Hard Rock International Chairman Jim Allen said: “Hard Rock team members around the globe are celebrating this momentous achievement for our partner and friend, Lionel Messi, and enjoying Champion’s Edition Messi Burgers in his honor.
“Teaming up with great partners allows Hard Rock to deliver on the excitement and unique experience our fans worldwide love and have come to expect from our brand. We can’t wait to see what our continued partnership with the greatest of all time brings in 2023.”
The Messi Burger will continue to be offered alongside three dipping sauces, aioli, Latin chili and Messi’s alleged favourite chimichurri.
The extension of the Messi Burger promotion follows the Hard Rock and Messi retail collection launch in November this year. This launch gives customers the chance to purchase select hoodies when they scan a QR code.
These QR codes can be shared with friends and family and are available to share on Instagram.
