OneComply branches into eight jurisdictions
Investigators in these jurisdictions can now access data shared by OneComply’s clients.
OneComply has revealed that, through customer-requested engagement, eight jurisdictions are now using the OneComply data repository to conduct investigations into applicant licensing.
Jurisdictions include Tennessee, Maryland, Colorado, Ohio, Virginia and Indiana. These jurisdictions and others can access the platform established by OneComply, and view information shared with them by the company’s clients.
OneComply Founder and CEO Cameron Conn said: “We’ve always known that what we’re providing to our clients is also a value-add to regulators.
“Our clients love that we’ve simplified another of their licensing tasks and regulators are also seeing efficiencies in their investigative process. This capability not only centralizes data access for regulators, but reduces exposure to our clients from copying private documents from multiple locations to external file-sharing sites.
“We look forward to more jurisdictions coming onboard to benefit from this important capability.”
When a company submits a business application for a state gaming license, they receive a request back from the regulator or investigator to provide additional information. Through the OneComply program, all of this data can be shared directly with the party versus having to copy the files and using a site such as Dropbox.
In some cases, applicants are even asked to mail in sensitive documents; the company aims to change this process by using its data-sharing platform.
