4ThePlayer receives provisional licence for Michigan market entry
Following its US debut in August, 4ThePlayer.com has secured approval to go live in another state.
UK-based supplier 4ThePlayer.com has gained access to a second US jurisdiction.
The brand has received a provisional licence from Michigan’s Gaming Control Board (MGCB) following its New Jersey and, ultimately, US debut in August of this year.
Now, with a second jurisdiction in hand, 4ThePlayer plans to solidify its foothold in North America ahead of future expansion.
The supplier’s first game to go live in Michigan will be 9k Yeti, its so-called “flagship title.” This will enter the market in the “coming months,” followed by other games, such as 6 Wild Sharks and 3 Secret Cities.
Chris Ash, 4ThePlayer.com Co-Founder and Business Development Director, commented on his company’s latest market entry and teased future developments.
“This is another exciting chapter for 4ThePlayer. We are thrilled to have our second state under our belt,” said Ash.

Content from 4ThePlayer will be made available to Michigan residents via Gaming Realms under a third-party distribution agreement that was announced in late September 2021.
At the time, Gaming Realms said this partnership will “deliver four to five games in North American markets in 2022 and beyond.”
The deal last year also saw Ash retire as a non-executive director from Gaming Realms’ Board to prevent any conflicts of interest, in accordance with company corporate governance protocols.
